Ayurvedic Medicine, the purest Form of Herbal Medicine

We all have this notion that all types of herbal medicines are supposedly free of side-effects. Yes, it is true that natural cures have fewer side effects when compared to synthetic drugs. But that does not mean that one can take herbal medicines as 'n' when and in whatever ways. Herbal medicines too should be used wisely i.e. as per doctor's advice; otherwise you may have to face some mild to fatal side-effects. The reason behind this is that most of the recent herbal medicines are mixed with synthetic ingredients and can be just as dangerous, if not more harmful than prescription drugs. Ayurveda, the literal meaning of which is "Science of life" has been a very organized system of healthcare developed by yogis and natural scientists.
